Some sort of whistle ??
I just installed a BBK Cold Air Intake (fender kit) . The previous intake was a March Ram Air that a previous owner had installed. The March kit was below the bumper and was all busted up when I purchased the car so, I decided to change it out.
Anyway, now that the BBK is installed I seem to get a faint whistle coming from inside the engine compartment when Im on the throttle. Its not constant but comes and goes under throttle. I checked all the clamps for the intake and everything seems tight. Im thinking its sucking air somehow but I cant seem to locate where. Could it be the air is somehow making a noise as its bieng sucked through the inside of the fender? The car runs good, idles good. I ran out of daylight today and will start over tomorrow. Does anyone have any suggestions ???????
Thanks.

THE WHISLTE is common , if you have a throttle body also that is aftermarket you'll need to plearance/port match the intake opening/ smooth any rough edges so that the air transition between the two points is smooth, otherwise the air will whistlr past the rough areas
