KOEO Code 189

I have had another code pop up recently.

189 "Fuel system at rich adaptive limit at partial throttle/system lean."

Does that mean it's running rich or lean? Thanks in advance for your insight.

Any idea what codes 189 means in layman's terms?

It means the computer is adding more fuel because it believes the sensor is telling it that it is running lean.

o2 bad,vacum leak, Honk if you are from Carolina. Moooo if you are fum State. Sure many folks have no idea what the earlier moooo was about. 189 is refering to drivers side of engine. Swap 02 sensors and see if code follows 181. Where are you in NC Scott? I'm in Jacksonville, home of Camp Lejeune.
