Default Any HP gains if I have hollow out my converters?

Since the h-pipe has to wait for a while, I want to hollow the converters out if you guys recommend it. Will I be able to get some extra horses if I do this? I have a 92 GT which is a daily driver. I wanted to buy a shorter belt, but it seems that there isn't that musch of a gain. If I hollow out the converters will I at least get 10HP if I have moderate modifications and a cat- back exahust?

I also heard that hollowing the out hurts the cars low-end torque, due to something dealing with backpressure, is this true? Will it even matter?

i wouldnt do it. itwill cause a turbulence in the hollow cats and will slow down air flow, it will give a more deeper sound. i dont see a gain of 10 hp
