i got ya, im just telling you dont believe everything you hear. i dont want you to spend your life savings on building the suspension, take it to the track and espect to run 13s. you might shave .5 with a good suspension and some DRs with an auto. you got alot of time and money ahead of you to get close to low 13s, much less 12s.

ok well i think if my track was better i could run better it is a pretty bad track the owner puts no money into it, im suprised nobodys wrecked on it yet, ill post a pic of how bad my tires are i think theyre eagle vr60 the center is very wore out on the tires, i just feel my mustang is faster than a 14.7 i know im askin for alot to get into 13s but i wanna keep this car orignal but suspension i can live with motor wise small bolt on things ill put on maybe an intake manifold but id rather put the money in the suspension

my dad is a drag racer and very good at that, he knows alot of people he talked to a guy that knew alot about mustang suspension and this guys friend had a pure stock 89 GT he did alot of suspension mods to his car i dont know what kind of tranny he had, but he put his mustang in the 12s with a stock motor thats all i know, it was also a daily driver
Yeah with a push of a button you can get pretty much any fox body in the 12's

you do know that 13s are a breeze with a stock motor dont ya? it takes a 3k stall nonlockup,K&N,U/L CAs, rear seat gone and just some sound damp stuff from the back of the car, 410s and et streets and he will be a 13. this is also in the right elevation. bring it to PGH and a cool night and hell hit 13s consistantly.

with a stall that high you need more than 4.10s. also traction shouldnt be a major issue with your basically stock car, but it is better to upgrade the suspension before you get the HP. also i wouldnt run DRs with all stock suspension. the battle boxes will be ruined in no time, along with a bunch of other things. you can do it, its just a durability thing. anyways, it seems you are young and have a long time to improve on your car so if i were you i would start with suspension, dont worry so much about 1/4 times as you wont see 13s with your auto until you gotta 300HP ride.

hey bud, do yourself a huge favor and edit your sig.

remove the larger plug wires, remove raised stall, remove heavy duty AOD internals

if you want to list those mods do it as MSD 8.5 wires, 3k stall and built AOD...just for examples
