Thanks for the comments, guys!

Just a side note:
the 291 Hp/330 Tq is at the wheels dynotuned, not at the engine.
Probably at the engine is 330-340 HP at least, but I never pay attention to bhp.

I have the stock 3.08 gears too. I drive on the interstate everyday.

I just realized that I have my tire pressure pretty high, does that helped to lower the lbs for launching a all?
I also did not use the waterbox... drove around it. I didn't think people used it for street tires.

yeah, definitly do not use the waterbox. at my local track its pretty hard for the people running street tires to miss it though
you would see a big plus with gears, but if you drive alot, the gas milage is gonna hurt

I flushed out my radiator today and discovered that my fan is not kicking on when it supposed to.
The engine got up pretty hot just idling... even with the heater on full blast.
The KO/EO test shows that the fan itself is working.
No bad codes coming up on the computer.

probably b/c street tires dont gain traction by being heated.

Thats correct....The guy running the 1/4 mile when you only wait 10 minutes to run your car again that is HOT LAPPING your car.....Thats a nono. To help cool your car down get a 20Ibs bag of ice and put on your intake and let the car sit for at least an half hour

i have a little to add to what sup95 said. when hot lapping your car do not shut it off right away after a pass, the hot oil is bad for the bearings, let it idle for a min or two, then shut it off and ice the intake. alot of guys got fans and use the hood as a box to force cooler air across the motor in between passes. this will keep the motor happy, and that will lower your times.
