Hey guys. I sold my 98 GT and am looking to get a fox body. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the specific differences between the GT and the regular 5.0. I didn't know if the motors had any real differences or if the ground effects, fog lights and brake light covers were the only differences. Thanks for your help.

i think so too and also the lx's were lighter than the gt's by 150-200lbs.

a big different between a GT and regular 5.0 is the suspension. the GT had a lot better suspension. Other than that all it is is ground effects. OO and any 93-95 5.0 has non-forged piston's so IMO don't get any made 93 and after.

86-89 were speed density cars and 90-93 where Mass Air Flow.

no and its been said over and over again. an LX 5.0 has the same suspension as a gt 5.0. they both get teh gt handling package

only difference is the seats, door panels, a fog light switch and body skirting

exactly what quik said the suspension is the same, the only diff. except cosmetics are the forged pistons in 87, and SD.

im pretty sure that the only difference between the lx and the gt it that the gt has an extra 382 pounds. thats what i heard anyway...
