Default rearend ?'s

hey guy ive got a 85 mustang ive got a decent motor in it im getting ready to hit the dragstrp in a couple weeks and i know the rears gonna break soon. i saw , if i remember correct, a 92 thunderbird with a 8.8 with rear disk. the setup looked similiar to my stang. does any one know if they swap out or not?. thanks for the help.

no they won't. a 92 tbird has an independent rear end. But if you find a turbo coupe rear end then yes they will bolt in but you have to do some other brake work for it to work.
