flywheel install question

Default flywheel install question

I just finished rebuilding my t5 and i finally got my new clutch in the mail so i tore my old clutch off and the flywheel was really hot spottd ad burnt so i took it off to have it surfaced tomorrow only thing is in the excitement of getting parts in and working on my car i forgot to mark how the flywheel was on to get the weight right does the flywheel only go on a certain way or is there a special trick or indicator to know where to put the weight?

It will only line up 1 way. One or more bolt holes will be slightly off when its not lined up correctly. Be sure to check all 6 positions.

Just spin it till all the bolt holes line up perfect. There is only one way it will bolt on.

dont be a jackhole like AODE08 and drill the holes longer to line up.

if 5 out of 6 holes match... its still wrong

lol, that was the first thing I thought when I saw the thread title. When he did that.

But yes, all 6 holes only line up 1 way, and like Adder said, even if 5 line up and the 6th is off, it's wrong.
