need advice on how to put more power in my mustang

hey, i have an 88 mustang gt that is in great shape but has a stock engine , what would be the best way put get some more power in it w/o sacraficning too much gas milage

ya ignore this one , i made one and it didnt show up so i made another one then they both appeared
