electric fan problems

Default electric fan problems

I have a 93 cobra and i put a electric fan on and changed my thermostate and it is running hot is the fan suspose to blow out the front or suck in, if i dont run the fan when i first crank it will run hot and the temerature gauge keeps moving up and down , if anybody has an idea please let me know

The fan should blow back onto the engine, cooling the condensor and the radiator.. hopefully the electric fan came w/ a sensor and its own control module..

One more thing.. some did and some didnt.. come with an overflow resovoir..it made the difference in my mustang, couldnt figure why i still ran hot after installing mine on my last 5.0

My 1995 came from factory with electric fan. It is behind the radiator and pulls the air through. Turn fan on and feel wich way the air is going. All has to be done to reverse air flow is reverse the positive and negative wires.
