i have an '89 LX with 70mm tb, cold air,headers,and 410 gears... i was wondering if i put on a performance intake manifold on my motor would it make a big difference over the stock intake manofld i have now? if so which manifold would you recommend?

i wouldnt say a big difference because the stock heads is where the largest restriction is. but you will notice a little bit.

well i just bought the car with all these aftermarket parts i just was wondering want can i do to it to add a lil more power???

I added a typhoon intake, 70mm tb, and CAI all at the same time, went to the track and ran .12 faster and gained 1.56 mph, not gonna notice that unless your at the track.

I bumped the timing and added an ele. fan, and went back to the track a month later and knocked off .32 sec and gained 1.19 mph

when you dont need more air, more air does nothing. expect a 5 hp increase but probably based on less vac leaks than b4. you have a 70 maf..... what tb ?

at this point, save for heads, get some mickeys if you do not, or spray it
