throw out bearing help!

Default throw out bearing help!

Ok so im getting ready to install my tranny flywheel is on with the new pilot bearing got a new clutch fork all gresed up and in the bellhousing now do i need to orient the throw out bearing anyway in the clutch for it is not completely round on the clutch fork slot it comes to a point does it need to be pointing in a certain direction?

mount the bellhousing up first then the tob will slide on the fork.. don't worry about the pic I found it's for a mod motor but they mount the same

just some advice, ALWAYS use a Motorcraft throwout bearing. I've yet to find one that actually holds up like the factory Ford ones.

+ on that. Used a Ram with their kit...1332 miles later was whinning so bad a friend joked about my new supercharger. Ford Racing tob went back.

lol whats wrong with centerforce clutchs?

everyone seems to get there rocks off about them. I just want an easy pedal. my old mcleod clutch was a workout with that damn pedel.

bold statement with no back up there buddy.


EDIT: FYI, every issue I can find is from 2006 or older. I understand in 2006 they redesigned a few clutchs, and it fixed a ton of issues.
issues ranged from the clutch not holding to advertised power, and not disengaging at higher rpm's.
