bolting on 2.5" to 2.25"???
ALMOST DONE! I'm having another slight problem, has anyone tried to bolt a 2.5" h-pipe to a 2.25" (stock) cat back? The holes in the flanges or whatever they are called, from the cat back aren't big enough and are not allowing the studs from the new h-pipe to go in. I thought that I was going to have this problem. I can always make the holes bigger on the cat back flange to fit the bigger h-pipe flanges. Is this what I'm going to need to do until I can afford a 2.5" cat back? OR if I wanted to be REALLY loud I could just say screw it all and do dumps ...

Tim, that's what I'm going to end up doing tomorrow, I'm going to punch it and drill it out and use a burr on the dye grinder to touch it up. Negadivone, all I've got to say is you are one lucky bastard lol.

I put on a 2.5" o/r H pipe and it bolted up just fine to the stock 2.25" cat back. just took a little bit to get the bolts through the flange.

Alright guys, the exhaust is all done and I test drove it. There is a performance difference! The sound is awesome. Next on my list is underdrives... $64.00 a good deal for underdrive pullies? Anyways, I've got to go to the hospital, I got a metal shaving in my eye and it's scratching the hell out of it, thanks all!

i just hooked my mac xpipe up to my stock pipe/muffler/etc last week, and i just had trouble with the driver's side flange matching up with the studs from the xpipe. i ended up starting the bolt on one side, and beating the flange on with a hammer while i pryed the stud up into the hole. many times brute force saves money
