Default Header Install Question

When installing new headers, is it necessary to reinstall those two engine brackets that are held in by the header bolts?

ive read in a mustang 5.0 project magazine that you do because it like absorbs the vibration on the headers, so the ehader bolts dont back out and it could cause a header crack. in the books opinion. but hey i didnt put mines back in and its fine
