95 cobra..that seems odd as I run 15psi using 42's
87...why is that intake not good?...it flow enough for a car with a stock cam with 8 psi..like I said before I run 15 psi and use a gt-40 intake..with gt-40 heads grants they flow very well...that black box intake doesn't do much when it's for a stock bottom...I have had great gains using a cheap ole truck lower and a edelbrock upper

first off, i asked that question about the truck lower a few days ago, could you explain the swap. which upper did you use. and i dont mean the intake wont support boost, but any box style manifold will produce better numbers on a forced induction setup, larger runner diameter with shorter runners allows the airflow to flow better at higher RPMs as a they dont need the smaller, longer runners to make torque. a stock manifold will support any amount of boost as well, i was simply saying which works best for the appl.

How is it odd the new set-up is over 500 Rwhp......The boost amount doesn't matter it is the power you are making...Just another idea my blower produced 13psi with the old combo and the same blower only produces 6psi with the new combo

ok, next question, where do i find the pulleys to run like 15 psi? You have to remember, I am not new to working on cars, just new to fords. I can do any of it with the right book or right answers. I plan on doing the work to the stang all myself. And how much would it benifit me to go with the glass doors and decklid???????? I appreciate all the help so far.

in the long run the "juice" costs alot more, you have to refill the bottle, what do you have to refill on a supercharger?

ha please, juice is nice cause you dont always use it. not saying i dont like boost cause i do but you get alot more out of juice then a blower. expect blowers sound so pimp.

and before you go on a rant about this and that. most boost numbers ive seen are 50% and that is with a intercooler/aftercooler

50% of a 302 ho is 112 hp

125 shot cures that very easy and thats for about 700 bucks or cheaper....whats the blower 1900 to 4k depending on the kit

so at 35 bucks a bottle and 700 for the complete kit. **** it will be a long time before i spend the same amount of money you blower guys just did. also blowers should get rebuilt every so often if used hard. so there is more money spent and i can get new solenoids for under 100 bucks. also new jets are about 15 bucks for a set and a pulley is what? 40.....

both are fun and im ****ing with ya but facts are facts

Thanks Quick, I agree that Juice is the way to go. And its about damn time someone else realized that once you buy a blower, its not there at 100% forever. Sooner or later your going to have to do maintenence, and somtimes its not cheap. All there is to an N20 kit is a few lines and some solenoids. Even Vortech recommends complete S/C overhauls at least every 20K miles. Twin Screws need to be rebuilt more often than centrifugals if you want to maintain optimal rotor tolerances. Where there are some that have S/C's that last 50K miles with no problems or performance loss, the projected life expectancy from the manufacturer's arent that impressive considering the initial investment.

Anyways, if your gonna S/C it, IMO you should go ahead and run the 42#'ers. That way you have some room to grow. Also if you get it tuned and setup properly, your driveability wont be any different than if you got the smaller injectors aside from the occasional throttle surge.
