Default Trim Question on my gt

Hey everyone,
So I have been looking around at trim online and I am a bit confused. The quarter windows have the thick black trim, I can only find covers for that and not the original just trim, how hard is that to do anyways, do you have to take the window out from the inside. I can not find all the black trim around the door windows neither. I have been looking for a while so its not that I have been researching so thanks if you can help me.

they only make covers for them, to fix the issue you must buy the whole quarter window assembly

you have to buy a new set of quarter glasses, they are bolted in with butyl tape. You have to remove the inner quarter trim and remove the 9mm nuts and push the glass out. Then clean all the old butyl off the body, you will need a roll of buytl tape I use 8mm put that on the glass and install then put all the nuts back in tighten them up install the interior trim and your down

when you trim them to fit they look pretty good imo, a lot better than the stock ones falling apart. The big trick is to trim them (only one of mine needed a little off the top), paint them, and then use your favorite adhesive to apply them. I tried using strip calk but i ended up just silicone them on there (you'll need a lot of silicone). I would post pictures but the car i put them on got hit about two weeks after i did the work.
