Problem with no starts after car is warm and sputtering under load
My friend has a 95 mustang gt and he is having an issue with the car not starting after driving it for a while and it sputters under mild/hard acceleration. We already changed the distributor and the ignition control module. The car also flashes the check engine light on and off from time to time. I can't think of what else it could be, if anyone has suggestions or advice that could help me out that would be great, thanks.

oh also when you try to run an engine scanner on it, it comes up with code 998, that it is running in failure mode because the coolant temperature sensor is out of range. We also already replaced that sensor, has anyone ever had issues with the constant control relay module on the overflow tank (ccrm) ? Thinking that might be the problem.
