I recently picked up a 87 mustang with a vortec SC. It has been modded to a MAF and i think has a cobra computer. the super is base model 5-7 lbs boost. The car is BALLZ fast but has idling issues. it idles at about 800-900 but sounds like it is missing alittle. as soon as you give it gas it clears right up. Does the computer need to be tuned for this setup? it has a 255 fp diffrent injectors etc. Not really sure what the guy who set this up did to it..
Like it said it runs great , fast but sounds like it is missing at idle....cleaned maf and 1.0 volt on tps sensor..5.0 at wot... Any help would be great

ALso what is the timing supposed to be set at for vortec.? i have it set to 9 degrees

why does it 'sound' like its missing? is it like hesitant? or does it have an agressive cam in it?
