I don't like that fuel pressure reading! Way to high! Set it around 40! You are running way to rich! Did you pull a plug and look at it!? Timing set to low also I agree with that one! Set that around 14! These small block fords respond to timing really well! Bump it up and get back with us! And make sure that maf is calibrated for your injectors! You can take the electronics off of the maf and send it to pro flow to have it calibrated! Better yet send them your whole maf! It's easier! I am surprised about this speed shop and concerned by them not telling you all of this! Do they deal with mustangs normally? This should have been the first thing out of their mouths to You!

I going to go out on a limb and say you have a tad more cam, fuel and air than the stock heads can handle.

thanks to all of you for your help sp far. I've pulled the plugs and they are fine with no noticeable residue. I ran a timing check and a compression test and I am getting nearly even cylinder readings across all of them in the 145-150 range. I've ran a computer check and keep getting these codes - Key on engine off (53, 81,82 & 83) which seems to be in the IAC low voltage and EGR system. With key on, engine running I get codes 98, 53 & 63 which indicates a rich condition with EGR system problem. I am going to get a new egr valve and remove the upper plenum of the manifold to install it while also checking ot make sure I haven't forgotten or crushed a vacuum line. I have ordered a new MAF for the 24lb injectors and hopefully will get it this week. I plan on doing this thursday (my next day off) so if any of you have any ideas on what else to check while I am in there it would be appreciated. Also, I don't remember if I put it in my original post but I removed the smog pump and cats from the emission system while doing this, the piping that was in the back of the heads was removed and blocked off.
