Default 94 GT, question on the current recalls?

Hi, I've got a '94 gt, the power seat stopped working and the parking break seems incredibly useless at this point. I've noticed in my research on both issues that there are recalls relating to both problems. I'm 99.9% sure that the power seat is the motor but I figured that if there's a recall on it and I take it to Ford maybe they'll at least confirm that it's the motor without charging me their $90 diagnostic fee.

Because it wasn't my car from the beginning I'm not sure if either of these have been fixed or not. Should I just take them to Ford and ask them to check if they've been done?

Here's the information on the recalls:

Check cables on brakes. If your car don't stop good let us break it. Seat has from what I've found on several been the switch. I'm retired and have more time than money. So have taken switchs apart and fixed, major test of how many fingers you can use at once. As suggested call in your vin and they will tell you right fast what is up.

the car is 16 years old... they will just tell you that the parts arent available anymore, and youll be screwed regardless.

bring it to a mechanic and get it fixed.

Most of us with bad power seats, just replace the track with a non power unit
