They sell new floorpans fairly reasonable. No reson to put it back togeather all messed up. Bite the bullet. This will not hurt ...long.

It is not bad if you don't have a problem restoring it

Shame on you for making it sound so easy. LOL.
I've done it more times than I care to say and never enjoy it. Pretty simple, just dirty and I hate being bent over in there trying to get all the welds done.

One thing that is good about foxes is that you can get floorpans for them... I did a friends '78 Camaro last winter and only had preformed pans for the floor from the front of the seats to the back. The area from the front seat bolts to the firewall aren't available and I had to form my own... NOT fun.

Even though I'm crying like a little beeeoch about how bad it is... just suck it up and get crackin'.

The thing that worries me most about that picture is how bad the rest of the car could be...

Now's a good time to crawl under the hatch and check out the torque boxes. They are almost connected to the rear of the floor where all that rot is. If they are cracked or rotted I would not bother with that car...

Also check out the strut towers near the brake lines and a/c lines. If they are rusted or have holes they need to be repaired before your car twists and tweaks the subframe structure.

The rest of the floor pan looks pretty solid. You could order a floor pan and then just cut that section out of the new pan and weld it in, if you don't want to take the whole thing out.
