Quik has the edge in this conversasion.....<lol>

One thing I do have a question about is this.....

Ok i jus recently bought a 1991 5.0 aod gt and it has 3.73 gears ,bm shift kit,and some rigged up exhaust, no headers , but anways my question is ...
How do you have an exhaust when you don't have headeres? Were they made and just tubes bolted to your block?

According to a chart by Kenne Bell a ET of around 14 secs will give you a HP number of approx 190-215hp.

This is pretty much a stock engine with a few mods....exhausts maybe.....CA intake......or gears.

So you might have other mods in the car, but I doubt it. Changing something internaly like heads or cam will certainly give you around 250hp. So if that is not the case, then you should see all the mods added.

Your 5.0 only runs a 14.7 cause the AOD is way slower than the T-5

see the chart can lie. weight plays a role in ET. since you didnt specifiy what model or etc has 215hp. it then becomes such a vag and bold statement. what about a ride that is 4400lbs. there is no way in hell its only got 215hp if it goes 14s

he probably has the stock manifold type headers and not after market ones

Don't really know how acurrate these numbers are...but I can only assume. This chart is in the "Mustang 5.0 Projects" so I hope the chart is for a standard size mustang 5.0 which is around 3400lbs I think.

Also when I talk about power I refer to rwhp.....

I think he means that It has stock headers , like aftermarket exhaust and no stock headers
