Default 92 Auto Tranny question

I need to know if the 92 GT's had an AOD or an AODE. Whatever the case is, will an AODE transmission work in it? Where is a good place to get a high perfromance one? I found one for 1000$ on ebay, seems like a good deal, but I'm not sure. <edited><editID>cdcarter</editID><editDate>37956.521400463</editDate></edited>

<FONT size=1></FONT><FONT size=2>The two tranys are about the same on the outside, but the aode needs to havea computer to shift it,it's not just one wire to make od work, you can get a Baumanator shift box to do the shifting but they don't work perfectly. Why do you want to change transmissions???</FONT>
