oil pan still wont seal

yea that wouldnt be good, so all i have to undue is the strut, steering, motor mounts, and the bolts that hold it up.

what about the springs

ok so they are suppose to be there thank you bubba 95sn

Well with my latest experience with my new motor,without those plates the bolts are too long and will bottom out not sealing the pan. Also I used the same gasket you did,my car leaks more now that I rebuilt the motor(not like leaving quarts of oil,just a drip or so)than before.But I also have aftermarket crank and with todays rear main seals,seems like they dont make them like they used to. Never thought of dabbing silicone on the corners as stated.
