whats the difference between the different holly fuel pumps. blue, red, black. i have a black in my car now and the car i used to have had a red. i went to the parts store and all they had was blue. will that push out what i need for my car? its just a stock 5.0

the gpm is the difference, red = street model, blue street/strip with regulator, and black is for higher hp/race cars....blue will be fine for you

i have a 88 5.0 the fuel pump runs for a few minutes the stop so i can start the car ,if i crank while the pump is running if will not start. i change the fuel pump ,relay under the seat but nothing.

red also has a max psi of 7 and blue a max of 14 psi
