Having a hard time installing the bushings into the J&M control arms

I bought the J&M control arms and if I knew I had to install the bushing, I would have not bought these. These bushings are a pain in the a*s..I'm having a hard time installing these bushings. I get one side in and when I put the other bushing on and compress it with my vise, the bushing slowly slides out and won't stay in place..How do I get these bushing to stay in place? Has anyone bought these control arms and had a difficult time installing the bushings?

In the pic you can see the left bushing sticking out, if I compress the bushing, it will slowly move out. It won't stay in place like the right one.

Is one side shorter than the other , so that once one side goes in it pushes the other out?

When it's not installed. With the 2 bushings butted up against each other. Are they longer than the tube it belongs too?

That's what I'm thinking,maybe they included the wrong bushings...just a thought. Call the company and let them know what's up,I'm sure there's a simple answer they can give you.
