Default This sounds bad...(NEW ENGINE!) help!

Ok i got the new engine in today and began buttoning everything up. while i was dropping the dizzy in i spun the motor with a rachet on the balancer bolt and while it was compressing i could hear a "hiss" like air escaping from the combustion chambers. I used Ford Racing head gaskets, used Copper Seal-A-Gasket on both sides, and followed the torquing procedure religiously...i'm so worried that this is going to a be a head gasket sealing issue...could it be anything else?? maybe i'm just being paranoid?????

thank god. Maybe i'm just being super paranoid because this is the first time i've built an engine solely by myself. These are expanded graphite head gaskets i used

Thanks Tony

I fired it up today, cranked right up and sounded great. Now i just gotta figured out why my fan isn't coming on, and i'm starting to think my Oil Cooler is plugged up. Oh well, next is the trans and a few odds and ends and i'm drivin it again. =). I didn't think about air getting past the rings lol. Just worst case came to mind when i heard it! thanks everyone.
