Engine surges hard right after KOER?
The KOER test runs fine, no stumbling, no problems....Got codes 94,44,33
(secondary air pump in-op, EGR closed) Im running GT40 heads so there is no crossover tube from the smog pump to the back of the heads (i.e. 94,44 codes)
No other codes, but as soon as test completes the engine surges BAD until to feather the throttle a few times, otherwise it will surge so bad it stalls. I tried tapping on the MAF, TPS, but no difference. Surging continues to the point of stalling.
This only happens when its up to operating temp.
Cold starts of more than 6 hours are fine, with no issues. I've done a base idle reset more than I care to mention...
I cleaned MAF, TPS is set at .98, IAC is new.....Would a bad ECT cause this? What else should I look for?

Lets see if i can make you feel better, when i first read it i thought you were talking about the test that the ecm does where it advances the timing to check it, but obviously not, have you tried the simple fix of reseting your ecu? (unplug the battery)

It may be you'r MAF, my buddy dropped mine and crack the top so I took it off until i can get another one, and it sounds like your car is doing the exact thing mine is doing. While it is surging try unplugging the MAF to see if it makes a difference, if it does than most likely it is fine, however if no change I would say it is either the MAF or wiring to it. Hope this helps.
