Default Removed smog pump

Hi,
I have a 93 LX 5.0 that I converted form aod to t5 and removed the smog pump system.
My question is when the smog pump and related plumbing is removed do i I connect the 2 small vacuum hoses from the smog modulators together or cap them off separately?
The car starts fine but after it warms up it starts to get a rolling idle. I currently have the hoses connected together.
Thanks.
