I drive a 1990 mustang gt with afr 165 heads, trickflow intake and an anderson cam. I just did the rear two weeks ago and put in 31 spline axle, ford racing cobra posi diff. and 3.73 gears. It was tuned at Valley Performance in Belleville and ran fine until today. my car was revving at 1500 whenever i engaged the clutch or just put it in neutral(which is one of the reasons i bought it there). I was calling the mechanic when my car shut off. i happened to be going down hill so i dumped the clutch and it started back up. i attempted to hit the gas and the engine revved but it did not affect anything and then the car shut off. I waited about 15 minutes and the car would not start up. Since the mechanic would not pick up the phone i drove down there to see what was up. he told me to go home and start it back up and if it started then it was the piece on my new MSD distributor that was no good and if it didn't then drive back tomorrow because then he needs to look at it. I drove home and guess what the car didn't start. the check oil light came on and i checked the oil which i just changed and it was fine as i expected. Please someone help me before i buy a camaro it seems like every two weeks something bad happens and costs me hundreds of dollars. I could be maintaining a Porsche for how many repairs i have done to this car and im getting fed up. someone please help me I am in college and cannot afford not to have a car right now, its killing me!!!

your oil light being on means low pressure not level. see if you can pull codes if the above link doesnt work.
