do you know which pins i would check? maybe a pic or link? sorry to ask so many questions ive been a camaro guy since 16 and can diagnose and fix anything with a 350 tpi but im new to the 5.0 like i said. thanks again. and where is ground coming from ecm?

The red wire on the tps is the 5volt source. If it doesn't have voltage, look at the computer. If it does and the test wire shows no voltage, there is your detonation problem. The tps doesn't have to be hooked up for the car to run. But it will detonate as soon as you put your foot on the gas.
