nitrous junkie

I was wondering if anyone knows if its possible to swap a five speed out of a 99 up mustang into a 5 liter? Will the bellhousing bolt up? Will the input shaft work I could make or modify the cross member.It wouldnt be to big a deal if the driveshaft was different but it would be nice if it was the same.Any info would help I'm trying to come up with an affordable alternative to buying a new tremec or sumthing.
