Question Fuel pressure problems

With the key on and pump primed is my pressure gauge suposed to be at zero or should I have pressure? I installed a pro products fuel rail kit 6 months ago. When i start the car theres no pressure and it takes awhile crancking it to build pressure and start.

Cycle the key several times, then the pressure should be up. Will run soon as you turn key again. Seems the fuel is not staying in lines. Bleeding off, replace pump. Of course you can keep on driving and cycling switch several times before start.

I changed the pump about a month ago no change. Could it be a bad regulator

I had the same problem, low fuel pressure I installed a fuel pressure regulator from kirban. and installed a fuel pressure gauge on the fuel rail.. just to find out the little S hose on the pump assembly had a tear..also the fuel pump relay was bad.... but that was my problem...

and yes there should be fuel pressure when you prime the system..
