Help! firing order
I know this sounds stupid not being able to find the right firing order on my car but which is the number 1 cylinder on the distributer cap. I know that the ordering is 15426378(correct me if I'm wrong) but i think the guy who owned my car before me messed all the wires up and put them in the wrong place. Thanks for any input.

RE: Help! firing order
These guys are right, the fireing order on an HO is 13726548 (like a 351). I thought the rotor in the distributor spins counter clockwise. Because I can turn the distributer clockwise to advance the timing. But it's been a while, I would have to look at it.
When buying tune-up parts, always go with Motorcraft parts (the best for Fords). The number 1 will be stamped on it. No.1 is close to the black plastic vent on the top of the cap. I think its to the right of it, but I can't remember, I would have to go look.
