check the fluid level! if the fluid level is good then the rebuild is probably crap!

Also make sure they adjusted the TV cable also before we assume the rebuild is bad. Hopefully it came with a warranty

the fluid level is good and yes it came with a 2 year warranty, it just started acting up it drives and shifts fine until you slow down and try to re accelerate and it acts like its not in gear

Hey man, i had a lot of trouble with aod's, enough of trouble that i switched my car to five speed, I had someone build me a racing aod with shift kit redline clutches etc that was built to handle 480 rwhp, well long story short it failed about 9 times, I would always loose 3rd and than overdrive, btw my car isnt even close to 480 hp i was building it up for future mods, I replaced everything shift cable, tv cable, had the tv cable adjusted twice by an outside trans specialty shop it just never was going to work for me, so basically my advice is if you cant get it right, take that junkbox aod out put in a c4 or go five speed, the amount of aggrivation and time your going to spend trying to get that right just isnt worth it in my opinion, my aods a boat anchor now sitting in my garage.

the weird thing is that it shifts fine until i slow down and re accelerate it acts like its in neutral and the trans has like 300 miles on it

Refreshing my memory sounds like the case is cracked, that happend to me the 3rd time it was rebuilt the case was cracked i was losing pressure agaisnt the clutch plates when i slowed down and than stepped back on it, you probably wont be able to see the crack cause i couldnt either it was internal but that would be my guess and if its got 300 miles bring it back and tell them something along those lines atleast thats how i would handle it, AODOCRAP haha
