what he said^^^. if you dont go with the 202 you are restricted to what can be done down the road so why not get the 202 now. they are basically the same price

tell me this then........why does a 302 with 1.6, TFTW,cobra intake,70mmtb and 215/215 .512/.512 112 only put down 260rwhp and a motor with TFS1, GTP heads, GT40 intake 65mm tb produce a broader torque curve and make more HP?????? i know the reason

its very easy to have a valve that is to large and take away some from that combo. a 202 valve is just too large for a 302, hell they dont even put them on LS1s and they are mid 300s from the factory and most modders dont even touch the valve size to they are well over 400hp. thats a larger motor and produces alot more power then a 302. but like you said to each their own

to each his own . i like the 2.02. you can play with these now & add the high horses later and still use them.

actually no youre not. it depends on the combo youre going with. you can have a 184/195 valve and be in the 10s and produce around 500 hp so when is the 202 needed? also if youre going over sized valves why not just go to a 205

go with the head you think will help you the most . you know your plans, what will be added later, study, read, go on the web like you are doing, get different peoples opinion, go to the drags, find a trusted hot rodder, then buy the parts YOU like, you can go fast with a LOT OF DIFFERENT combinations, you can use BIG valves, SMALL valves, BIG cams, SMALL cams , so do like you are doing keep asking questions . good luck with your mustang. o by the way keep in mind , some are better than others but no one knows everything about these mustangs.
