Default Ok...all I did was change the oil.

As the title says, all I did was change the oil. As most of you know, I took a break from mustangs and decided to get a G. Welp, the G didn't wow me and I started wrenching on the 'stang again. Turns out the problem was just a blown passenger headgasket.

During the break down of the engine, I didn't take the distributor out nor move it at all. Anyways, after fixing the headgasket and getting everything together, I started the car. Of course, it started right up but died without some gas. Once the fuel lines pressurized though, the car ran like a champ.

So happy, I turned the car off and took out the nasty oil that was in it. Changed the oil and filter and went to start it back up. The car barely started and when started it would just die. Also when I gave it gas, nothing would happen. I could blip the throttle to keep it going but if I floored it, the car would cackle and then die.

I'm at wits end. I don't know what the hell I did. I didn't move anything while change the flippin' oil. :/

Here's a video of the problem. Anyone got any ideas?

Yes check your vaccum hoses and replace them if you have to.
Also I would check your fuel pump and fuel filter.

The vacuum lines are all connected as far as I can see....

And would a fuel pump really do this? last time one went out, it just made the car sluggish, not undriveable.

When I replaced my fuel pump in my mustang it was slowly failing and
than one day I turned the car over and I didn't hear the fuel pump and it
failed on me.Also my fuel filter was clogged and needed to be replaced.
I hope you put the correct amount of motor oil in your mustang
because over filling it wouldn't be good.I bet you have a huge vaccum
leak somewhere.

Car is an 87 and therefore, sadly, it's speed density. I really got to stop being lazy since I have everything I need to change to MAF. lol

@Bladerunner: I hear it turning on. It's pretty audible like always and it's only about two years old. And yes, only five quarts touched this thing. I'll try the fuel filter since it seems to be the cheapest option right now.
