Default whats it for?

i just recently found a vacuum leak that was causing the idle to bounce around at idle. its the long hose that runs from a canister at the passengers side to underneath the intake manifold. after that i done a few full throttle blast and i could smell and see alot of carbon. now its gone. what did i just fix? seems like i have a bit more mid range pull too!

Not lean, this means there is more fuel to burn. Correct fuel mixture=more power.

also, if your engine is stock, or stock-ish...you DONT need premium fuel

you are actually losing some power there too

Sounds like to me you fixed a vacuum hose from your charcoal canister that was leaking and if you got the timing advanced like mine (mine's at 14*) then yes you do need to run premium...

I guess I'm a retard then since on my last GT with the timing advanced I tried getting away with 89 one time and my valves started pinging and put 93 back in and it stopped.... Who would of thunk it... Thanks for confirming that for me!!!
