Default control arms

correct me if I am wrong. The other day I was talking with some friends. They said that if I put new rear upper and lower control arms on my car, then I have to eliminate my quad shocks. I told them they were wrong. Who is right?

Default RE: control arms

you dont have to eliminate them at all. thats up to you some ppl do remove them and never see any side effects with them off. but i sure wouldnt remove them unless you did have a set of U/L CAs

right, they suppress wheel hop which is almost always eliminated with aftermarket control arms. you dont have to but they wont be needed anymore so why not loose the weight.
