Default 93 GT 5.0 Vert suspension question

I am new to Mustangs and am preparing to replace shocks and struts. I am clear on the front, but my Haynes repair manual doesn't give much info as to where the top of the shock in the rear is located for removal. I haven't removed the rear wheels to get a visual because one of the locks is stripped and the car hasn't been put on the road yet. Is the top of the hock accessible through the trunk or from underneath?

yea everything is accessible in the trunk.. just have to peel back the carpet a bit and it'll be easy enough from there. chilton sells a good book too btw, might want to look at that.

+1, if you're adding lowering springs, make sure you get quality shocks/struts and add a set of maximum motorsports c/c plates to get the alignment back in spec.

I won't be lowering the car at all, but I picked up some KYB's from Mustangs Unlimited which is a couple of miles from my house. They were in stock and the price was right...
