My son installed the new HEI module. The car will start but idle is real low. First thought was he has the timing off a little but any adjustment on the timing causes it to die and not start again. I thing he just needs to set the idle up some. Can someone let me know how he can increase the idle. Thanks

on the braket that holds the throttle cable theres a screw that adjusts the idle

yep..theres a idle screw..just turn it until ur happy where it idles.. how low is the idle? shold be aroudn 900 i think.

Runnin around 600 now so it lobs a little but ran fine when driving.

i backed my idle set screw all the way out, and i would still like it lower. mine is around 700. how can you get it lower?
