Default what exhaust to look at..

yeah.. I'm looking for a nice sounding catback that wont be raspy if I deside to put a O/R H or X pipe.. I have SLP LM I's on my 04 with an O/R Hipe Its nuttin but Raspy.. I hate it.. Im changing it back to my stock X.. what are some suggestions.. and whats some great sites to look?

Yes Quik, you can go wrong with Flowmasters..If you get an O/R pipe with flowmasters..1) it sounds tinny and 2) there will be a horrible drone at like 2200

Go SLP again..and get a catted mid instead of O/R..the resonators will more than make up for the loss with the cats.

And did you say stock X pipe??

ive heard nothing but good about borla. but then again the guys i talk to have full custom installs done at rainbow muflers in jax florida, so i dont know if borla has a catback or not

drone is with any real muffler. also ive had flows on alot of my rides and not once had a bad sound from them. if it did sound like azz i would of ditched them

Don't get me wrong Quik..I'm not saying I don't like the sound of flows..I used to hate them and they have kind of grown on me lately (will always like straight through more though) and I was just saying that if he doesn't like the rasp he gets with the SLP and O/R H..then he probably won't like the drone of Flows either

drone or rasp...for me i would go drone. any chamber muffler has drone. any striaght thru muffler has rasp

so its like half dozen in one hand and 6 another in the other
