Ignition hot wire
Seeing if anyone knows where to splice into an ignition hot wire. I don't want to just shove a wire into the fuse box (trashy). I want the hot wire to run my aftermarket gauges. Or if anyone knows where to splice into my headlight wires at so when i turn them on my gauge lights will come on.

Guess my cars trashy, they do make taps for the fuse box instead of just jamming a wire into a fuse....just sayin.

maybe trashy was the wrong word to use. I had an 88 that was rigged like that but i didn't like the way it looked, just trying to make it look like not such a rats nest

Well my friend told me to check the muffler bearing if the blinker fluid was full. Those didn't seem to be the problem so he asked me if the flux capasitor was in balance with the moon. Thanx for the help!

Despite the bashing you have taken you are right but for the wrong reason. Wires wrapped around a fuse or shoved into a fuse box is dangerous. The wire can move around and bypass the fuse. So when you get a shorted circuit rather than a blown fuse you get burnt wires and if there is a gas leak you get to call the fire dept. Just remember murphy never takes a break.

you can run a wire to the circuit breaker thats connecte to the solenoid but the proper fuse box tap would probably be better.
