I'll be getting a new paint job on my 91 GT conv soon and am looking at getting rid of the luggage rack look on the trunklid. Anyone have any ideas on what would look nice without being too wild? I'm not into big whale tails or boy racer looks, just want something a bit sportier than whats on there.

Also, I've never seen a convertible with a cowl. Would a mild cowl hood look decent on rag top?

www.mrbodykit.com has a lot body mods for mustangs. Ricer or not. They even have some factory replica saleen ppieces and stuff. Just go to the body kits section and pick out your year.

I've got a vert too, I think the things that look best are a saleen spoiler with a 2.5" or 3" hood.

Cowls look awesome on verts....only if they are smaller than 4". A 2-3" looks great.

Also after removal of the luggage rack (what was FORD thinking??? Have you ever seen it used?) you can go with a saleen wing or a cobra wing.

I like the cobra wing the best.

Getting everything from Cervini's so that is why it is taking so long.....expensive

Thanks for the info. I like the low profile Cervini wing https://www.cervinis.com/shop/closeup.asp?part=204M or may even just go without a wing alltogether. I might just remove the luggage rack and see how the decklid looks with nothing on it. As far as cowl goes, I see they make a 1.5". I may just go with that. I've always prefered the subtle sleeper look on the outside.

I have a vert also my favorite mod was the lx taillights when I paint it I want to ge the 93 special edition ( I think thats what its called) wing

i have seen the 5in cowl on a friends drag fox it looks nice on track but a no no for street driving
ppl say i should get a whale tale but i like the small cervini 1

I dont know if u would consider this a body mod, but a fox very with a nice set of WIDE wheels brings the whole car togather so nicely.
