I have a '90 LX and I am having some issues. After I parked her, I left her for about a week. I returned and tried to start with no luck. The fuel pump relay (under seat) and a relay on the right side fender are clicking some kind of crazy. My fuel pump is on and sounds as it always has. However, it cuts on and off at quick intervals along with the relay clicking. It then stays on and does not shut off. I have changed the two relays but the clicking still persists ( may not be the issue). I really hope someone has already lived and learned, and is willing to send some help my way. Thank you all for your assistance.

fox bodies have a fuse box type thing by the rear left tailight, its for when you get rear ended.. its a black box.. check that because that will cut power to the fuel pump..

also check voltage at the rellay.

It is called a inertia swich. Fuel cut off switch for slamming the rear hatch with defective lifts.

I have checked the inertia switch and it is good to go. I still can't figure out why the fuel pump relay and the relay on the right side fender are clicking. Almost bald so my wife hopes I can figure it out soon.

what kind of voltage are you getting at the rellay?
