Default valve cover

I have a 302 with a x542 cam n roller rockers n stock valve covers it has a breather filter n oil comes out through there I notice the the valve cover don't have the little plate in side the cover im thinking they removed it for clearances. What would be my best choice, put some tall covers that have that little plate with breathers or just put a oil cap on it

Should there be a breather on a 93? I think that the stock setup is a PCV Valve to the upper intake and then a piece of tubing from the oil fill tube to just after the filter. I have a 94 and that is my setup, tell me if i'm wrong.

it SHOULD have a pcv system. And I strongly suggest fixing it if it isnt present.

I agree, Way too much crankcase pressure if it puked out of the dipstick.
