1990 mustang alternator issue
 

im gonna buy a 1990 mustang with a carbureted 306 but it doesnt have an alternator what do i need to put an alternator on it

like tools that u need

yeah tools and parts

well u need the alt and u can get it done with a basic ratchet set

would i need a diffrent belt im guessing i do but how would i attach everything it only has a small belt making everything run it looks like this

yeah i know the pic sucks but its the best i can do so a bracket alternator and what kind of belt do i go with

well it looks like a v belt

where can i get a v belt and so i can have everything when i put it on i would need whats stated above and a v belt and ill be set thanks for the help man also what can i do to a carbureted engine besides heads,cam,intake to get some horses

any auto parts store should have the belt
