i have a 94 mustang gt 5.0L it has 118,000 miles on it,and jus recently after my grandfather cracked down on it real hard and burned tires my car has been shaking right after it starts up.it also rattles bad when i hit the gas and when thye rpm's get below 2 it starts to rattle real hard.my clutch is also warn badly and im getting it fixed here in a week or so.my dad fears there is something else wrong with the car.my question is do you think having the clutch worn like it is the reason why its rattling or do you think something else could be wrong with the car and if you do could u please explain what? thankyou!apppreciate all the answers

rattling???? kinda vague explanation...............if running rough is what you mean, it may have a misfire, if it started after cracking on it hard, I'd check all ignition components, if they are good, run a compression test

What I mean by rattling is when it starts up u can feel the car shake really bad or when u hit the gas nd the rpms begin to drop u can feel the car shake again and b4 it never did that until my grandpa reved the engine real high nd burned tires in it:-(

check the motor mounts and keep the old man out of the car lol ,

If you're not mechanically inclined just break down and carry it to a mechanic, tell them you think your motor mounts are broke.

i just took the motor out of my buddies 95 and both motor mounts were broke in it.made horrible noises when you would start it and rev it
