Anyways.., back to my Fifty, I recently noticed that on the freeway when im doing about 65 or over my car starts shaking, and it feels like its coming from the rear..., I did change my rear shoes and drums to new ones about a week ago. All tires are good also,,..? I need some ideas on where to start looking...!

drive shaft could be bent or have lost the weights on it,wheels could be out of balance

Swap front and rear tires. Vibration follows this will narrow it down. Start after brake drum shoe swap? Weight on drum come off? E brake hung up? Bad u joint? Problems in the differential?

Kool, yeah, my old Screen name was (stangman5.0) but the email address attached is no longer working.

Well i know wheels are balanced, driveshaft weights maybe? As for swapping the tires i really cant since i have 265's in the rear and 225's in the front. Now when i bought the drums i dont think i saw weights on them like the ones i took off..., ARent they suppose too come with them on....? Diff is good but u joints i havent checked.

I have yet to get under car and do some trouble shooting, just thought it was a good idea to ask for your opinions 1st!

First, I would check the wheel balance on the rear tires. Make sure u have the weights on there still, or just bring it to a shop and have them balance them, it's cheap. When is the last time you replaced the u-joints? That could easily be the cause. Jack the car up and put it in neutral and grab the driveshaft and feel for play in the joints. You should not feel any play at all.

Proper way to check u joints is to remove driveshaft. Mark where driveshaft meets pinion flange(balance, can go 1 of 4 places only one is correct). You can feel any roughness in the four ways it moves , in the car the needle bearings inside the cup will be destroyed before you notice movement. Replace a joint make reference marks or might be 180* off.
