Default Sourcing a 351W

OK, guys, I am new to mustangs and trying to learn as fast a possible. I cannot find the info for 351W's very well at all. I've used search a lot and read through many tech threads on here. So here goes:

What cars can you pull a 351W out of? I know some trucks and whatnot but need an idea on which years, etc. I believe you can ID a 351W by the number of valve cover bolts? Are the shortblocks all the same no matter where you buy them out of? I heard of a one piece versus two piece rear main seal or something of that nature...

Do 302 heads drop onto a 351W? Are the stock 351W heads different depending on which car or truck you pull it out of? Are they any good or are even the stock 302 heads better?

I understand that regular 302 headers won't fit since the block is taller and therefore need a different header set?

Thanks a ton guys!

Default RE: Sourcing a 351W

351 come in many cars and trucks. it came in most f series pickups from 1981 to 1997? (when they changed to the bubble style) they came in 69 mustangs and torinos and ltds and most bigger cars cept lincolns. 351 heads will bolt directly up to the 302 block and they flow a hell of alot better when propperly done. they are out there.
